I was born in Sacramento, CA in 1982. I started playing music when I was 14 in 1996. I asked my mom to buy me an electric guitar after I saw the Nirvana "Smells Like Teen Spirit" video. I've always been inspired by music from the 90s era, since that is the music I was first exposed to as a teen.

My favourite artists have always been Chris Cornell, Radiohead, Stone Temple Pilots, and The Smashing Pumpkins. I write songs in many different ways, sometimes I even dream them. Not only do i write in the singer/songwriter acoustic genre but I also have a melodic rock band named Blue Helix.

My wife Renata, who is from Brazil is my biggest supporter and helps me in every step of my artistry. She is my true muse. My father is my tie to Brazil, he was born there in 1945. After my wedding he committed suicide, so I have had a different outlook on things since then.

Guilt can weigh down your soul so I choose to live my life in the moment and not in the past. My dreams are one day to be able to play theatres to 500-1000 people a night who just want to sing my lyrics back to me. My hopes is that my music can bring joy and comfort to others lives even if its just for a moment.

It’s a brilliant and intriguing sound, with the tone of the song and guitar work bringing an undeniable, classic rock sound, while impressive vocals and the immutable rhythm of the song help to soften the aggression and make it wonderfully melodic.

The band's 2018 debut EP attracted a growing fan-base and recognition by BBC Introducing, Richer Sound's Artist of the Week and as finalists in Radio Wigwam's Rock Act of the Year. But shoulder surgery for their lead guitarist led to frustrations and a violent split with the rhythm section.
With the pressure valve on their creative outlet closed off, the band's songwriters - Ben Ellis (vocals/guitars) and Rick Whitehead (guitars/vocals) - went into a dark place. But this became the catalyst for an explosion of new material. The opening track, Splintered, was written soon after and it shows: 'The shame will never end but I'm coping on my own. The ones I left behind - they just fade out'.
In Over and Doubt, the chemistry between the songwriters becomes clear, 'This suffering will bind us to the end'. And it's a curious bond.
Saboteurs
The first four tracks juxtapose Whitehead's guitar-driven riffs with Ellis' melodic vocals and acoustic - contrasting styles glued together by the relentless pounding of drummer, Hamish Dickinson (who also produced the album at Phoenix Sound).
There's no let up with the soaring chorus of I Think My Face Hates Me or the brooding title track, Dance With The Hunted. There's no shortage of surprises either - from the acoustic led Break Down to the nu-metal screaming on Traces. And by the time it's all wrapped up in the thumping dystopia of Marooned, you're left wondering what it's all about but let it repeat. And repeat again.

With influences as diverse as New Model Army, Biffy Clyro, Neil Young and Thrice, Saboteurs' debut album, 'Dance With The Hunted', is due for release on 4 May 2019.
'We just can’t do trends. We end up chucking in elements from all manner of genres and smashing them together'. Well, it works.
And with a new rhythm section in place - Pete Botterill (drums) and Geoff Standeven (bass) - the band will be hitting the road again with live dates across the UK.

Lunga Sithole aka Rytious was born 2nd of January 1988,He was raised in Umlazi N-section in Durban Kwa Zulu Natal.He was given the name “Rytious” by his dentist who looked up the meaning of his name Lunga which means Righteousness but Rytious changed the spelling to mean yin and yen,a balance between good and bad.

Shaun first started singing when he was seven years of age. He competed in several talent shows as a child and won the national ‘Young Entertainer of the Year’ award when he was twelve, hosted by Pontins, Holiday camp. He also appeared on ITV’s local TV talent competition, which was screened every night for a week on the evening news –this openeda range of opportunities, including the chance to sing at some of the North East’s working men’s clubs as a warm up act before the main show.

Tales from Armageddonsville is a Brit-rock, alt/indie journey exploring various voices in the modern world.
Two years in the making, the album opens with a shotgun blast at racism and inequality with ‘Tarred and Feathered.’ Kicks out at the subtle and not so subtle brainwashing of populations in ‘Pavlov’s Dogs’. ‘In God We Trust?’ asks the question: If God can’t save us then who will? We detour into mental illness and isolation for ‘I Can’t Change Your Mind.’ Marriage breakdown is the subject of ‘Going Solo,’ a grungy lo-fi rocker. ‘Chords Played All Wrong’ is a look at loneliness but ends on an optimistic note. The Manic Street Preachers and other Welsh icons are the focus of ‘Blackwood Calling’ while ‘Helen Needs’ examines the tendency to overlook the good things and focus on the negatives in life to the point of self-annihilation. ‘Whore?’ deconstructs the modern Western family and asks why so many people in the Third World suffer to give us our standard of living. ‘Catechisms Cataclysms’ prompts us to change ourselves and the world. The journey closes with ‘Armageddonsville,’ a rocker that seems to contradict the previous track, perhaps it warns of the consequence of inaction.
