The Wonderful Nonsense is an Indie Rock Band founded by Alix C-W in 2020. Alix is a Guitarist and Songwriter. He started writing in 2008 and was instantly hooked. 

At only 41 years old Alix was retired from the NHS due to ill health in 2019 following a critical illness. Since being unwell he works full time at being creative and enjoys time at home with his wife and two boys. He draws on inspiration from them and the world around him.

Alix also plays guitar in a covers band The Collaborators. 

Having written in excess of 40 songs Alix recruited Rob, the lead singer and Bass player from The Collaborators to work with him on a number of his tracks. He already had rough demos of them but since his illness was no longer able to sing so Rob added vocals, bass and drums, recorded and mixed the songs and helped to transform them into something a bit magical.

The band is "The Wonderful Nonsense" because life, music and words can be truly wonderful and not everything needs to make sense!
