Chains Of Daisy

Formed in early 2018, Chains of Daisy are a guitar based rock band with country and rhythm and blues influences… Playing gigs across the length and breadth of London and having gained a reputation as a solid live act they decided to take their original material into the studio for their first full length recording.
 
Their debut E.P. Dead As Stone, blends aspects of acoustic, folk and Country with an underlying love and appreciation of 60’s, 70’s and 80’s Americana and British Rock which hopefully delivers a little something for everyone…
 
Chains Of Daisy are : Aristeidis Makaronas, Carlos Oliveira and Mike Blackhart
 
Aristides ‘Aris’ Makaronas… is a Greek/English multi-instrumentalist living in London. He is the musical director and lead/rhythm guitarist for Chains Of Daisy.
 
Having studied Sound engineering and musical production to degree level and being influenced by the likes of Bruce Fairbairn, Bob Clearmountain, Mike Clink, Bob Rock, Mutt Lunge and Glyn Johns, he has helmed the groups debut E.P. through all stages of production from recording to mastering.   When not in the studio, Aris is an avid photographer and tennis player, having previously played at professional level.   Aris uses, Art & Lutherie acoustics, ESP electric guitars, BOSS pedals and PEAVEY amplification.   Carlos Oliveira… is a Portuguese guitarist residing in London. He currently plays lead guitar for Chains of Daisy.   Playing both guitar and bass his musical heroes are wide and varied, ranging from Larry Carlton, Hiram Bullock and Allan Holdsworth to the outlandish 80’s stylings of Eddie Van Halen and Warren DeMartini.
 

Carlos uses Charvel electric guitars, Taylor acoustics, Fender Basses, Boss pedals and Jet city amplification. 
 

 Mike Blackhart… is the lead vocalist for Chains Of Daisy.
 
Influenced by Robert Plant through Mick Jagger to Josh Homme, Brian Johnson and Kate Bush, he keenly seeks out rich sonic pastures…
 
With a background in the media and entertainment industry he is also the operations manager for the band. 
 
Mike uses, Shure and Electronic Voice Microphones and Fender guitars.
