AUGER are Kyle Wilson (25) (lead vocals, programming and live keyboards and guitar) and Kieran Thornton (25) (Guitars and backing vocals). AUGER burst onto a unsuspecting scene in mid 2017 with their double 'A' sided debut single "My Guardian / New Life " (Rebco Records) quickly followed by their debut album "The Awakening" (Rebco Records). Both releases enjoyed critical acclaim and substantial air play on both scene radio shows and club nights worldwide.
They perfected their stage craft with a series of high profile support slots around the UK with the likes of Cruxshadows, Gothminister, Ost + Front, Inkubus Sukkubus, Davey Suicide, Solar Fake, Massive Ego, Sulpher, Unzucht, Young Gods, and Combichrist, culminating in being chosen as UK tour support for Lord Of The Lost. As a result of all this activity they were picked up by Dark Tunes Music Group (Germany) for a three album deal. This saw their debut album ' The Awakening' being remixed, re mastered and re released worldwide in mid 2018. It spent 8 weeks in the German Alternative Chart (DAC) reaching No 3 and the band enjoyed significant exposure in Sonic Seducer Magazine.
It was now time for the band to step out on the wider European stage which has seen them play in Belgium (Wave Festival), The Netherlands (with both Mesh & She Past Away), Finland (Lumous Festival with Terrolokaust), Estonia (Darkland Fire Festival), Malta (Dark Malta Festival with Lord Of The Lost), Austria (Schattenwelt Festival with Blutengel), and many show's in Germany including tour supports with Stoneman & Clan of Xymox, and various club nights and open air festivals including Synthetic Orange (Karlsruhe), Dark Skies (Witten), The Bismarcher Rocktage Open Air Festival (Gelsenkirchen) and Rock For Peace (Flensburg).
Their 2nd album 'From Now On I' was released in mid 2019, reaching No 5 in the DAC & the single 'Find My Own Way Out' reached the hallowed No1 spot in the DAC.
Their 3rd album 'Insurgence' was released on in mid 2020, and reached No2 in the DAC. The single 'Insurgence' reached No1 in the DAC. The second single 'My Death' reached No2 in the DAC.
The global pandemic then hit hard and whole world of live music in front of a live audience was paused. Auger responded by undertaking monthly live streamed acoustic shows that will live long in the memory, helping many people through the dark times that we all suffered.
A new single & video entitled 'Dark Clouds' was released on the the 28th of May 2021 via Dark Tunes. This was to be their last release by Dark Tunes as the band took the bold step of not resigning and instead decided to take full control of their own releases & distribution, by setting up their own label called The Big Chair.
In September 2021 they played the two HRH Goth Industrial Festivals, in London (o2 Forum) & Leeds (o2 Academy) supporting Lord Of The Lost, to widespread critical acclaim.
A new single & video entitled 'Sound Of The Machine', was released on the 6th of August 2021, via The Big Chair.
A new single & video entitled 'Oxygen', was released on the 10th of September 2021, via The Big Chair.
A new single 'Libra' was released on the 22nd of October 2021, via The Big Chair.
In October 2021 they played a short UK tour with Sidewalks & Skeletons taking in Manchester, Glasgow, London & Bristol.
Their fourth album, title TBA, is due to be released on Friday the 1st of April 2022.
In May 2022 Auger are booked to play The Out Of Line Weekender in Berlin with Blutengel, Solitary Experiments, Dive, and Ashbury Heights.
