I was nominated by the Josie Awards in Dollywood as “female rising star of the year” for modern country music and a songwriting achievement award for my new single “Move On”. I was born in Augusta Georgia and grew up being influenced by my parents love of Christian and Country music. I love old classic country music and my original songs sound more like the pieces from that time in history. I went through High School playing music on flute, tuba, piano and guitar. I have been writing songs since I was 13 years old. In college I would go play open mics and people loved my music. Now, I have decided to pursue music professionally and have formally released one song and have two more being released October 4th. This is an exciting time for me. The response from fans and the support from my friends, family and complete strangers has been humbling. I hope to continue making music professionally for the rest of my life. So be it.
