e.no releases his fifth single Someone I Know, a acoustic-electronic pop song about (late) decisions in life
Don’t we all do this: Meet someone, new or acquainted, and tell them how well we are doing and things are working out for us. But what if you’ve come to a place in life where you look back, and realise that you could have lead an entirely different life? If you hadn’t most of it just happen by itself, out of circumstances and simple chance, but had made more conscious decisions? They say, it’s never too late, but there are actually things that pass on.
Someone I Know is a colourful pop song, and the prismatic life story of an old man that Eno met, someone he actually doesn’t really know. And at the same time a story about himself, realising very late what music means to him, understanding he could have made commitments much earlier. This irresistible song is echoing loneliness and nervy regret, and at the same time sparkling an unravelling quiet euphoria of letting go – maybe it’s never too late, in one form or another.
Recent singles, remixes and e.no’s debut album Why Does Everybody Look Like Someone I Know have already been played on numerous regional and online radios, and reviewed on countless blogs and radios (including radioeins, WDR and oldenburg eins in Germany). Someone I Know is now the fifth single, marking the end of the album’s journey for e.no, before he will focus on writing and producing for himself and other artists again.
